Our Story

J Rife Adventure Equipment Company began as the aspiration of a family who simply loves getting outdoors and enjoying all that God has created.  We wanted to share that enthusiasm with others. 

Conveniently located between the mountains and the ocean in North Carolina, we understand that not everyone's ideal adventure looks the same. What ever your adventure looks like, if it is camping at the coast, hiking in the mountains, fly fishing or something else; we want you to be equipped with the gear required to fully enjoy the experience.

From the casual day hike to the ultralight trek to more remote locales, we understand the importance of your safety and comfort because with each mile traversed, you're penning adventures about obstacles you overcame and elements you endured.
